Starting this Saturday – March 4 @ 9:45 AM, Jon Harris will be starting the EAA sponsored “VMC Club” monthly workshop as follows:
The VMC Club offers monthly meetings in which pilots can network and share knowledge and experience. The meetings use real-world scenarios, an organized “hangar flying” focused on building proficiency to engage members, and allow a free exchange of information that improves awareness and skills. The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency
Our First VMC Club scenario is Titled "A Sudden Trap" When weather, a simple task, and giving a ride to a friend later in the day combine.
This will be a free exchange of ideas and thoughts as we work through the real-world scenario step by step.
Your Instructors will be:
Greg Scott, ATP rated pilot for UPS and a CFII
Jon Harris, Advance Ground Instructor
Hope to see you there!
So, come on out for a great breakfast at 9 am, then join us for the workshop. Or just show up at 9:45 am if you like to eat breakfast early and just grab a cup of coffee. These sessions are useful to pretty much everyone, you can either learn something, pass along your experience or both.
If you know someone that might be interested and is likely not on my BAA mailing list or the EAA-384 mailing list please don’t hesitate to pass this e-mail along. The breakfast and workshop are open to anyone interested – we only ask for a small donation for the breakfast and the workshop is free to all.
